Weaved Beret by Possum Ball

Here I have blocked this vintage yellow French straw hood using an equally gorgeous vintage beret block, this stunning piece is then accentuated by red, orange and gold ric rac braiding which I have weaved into the straw base, then finished with an oversized matching cabillou.

I just love digging into my stash of vintage straws, it’s hard to describe just how beautiful this one is, it’s an absolute treasure.
